Cheryl Fuchs is a founding member of FUCHS ROSENZWEIG PLLC.  Together with Doug Rosenzweig, she started the firm in January 2019, after working for thirteen (13) years as a partner with a highly-regarded Manhattan law firm.

Cheryl works tirelessly on behalf of her clients, who have come to rely on her unsurpassed dedication to the practice of law.  She is a zealous advocate with the will to win even in the face of long odds.  She is supported by a loyal team of associates and support staff who share her mission to go above and beyond standard law firm claim handling practices.  Cheryl and her team use the discovery process to expose weaknesses in the plaintiff’s case, and drive down settlement and verdict value.  More than a few witnesses have withered following Cheryl’s cross-examinations during deposition and trial.

Cheryl has an extremely dedicated and loyal client base of insurance carriers and contractors who assign the firm complex litigation including general liability, premises liability, and property damage claims.  Cheryl’s specialty, however, is the defense of construction accident personal injury claims. She is known throughout the industry for her detailed preparation, subject matter knowledge and trial skills.  She has guided her clients to successful claim resolution during meditations, at trial and before appellate tribunals. 
Cheryl also has a detailed knowledge and understanding of insurance coverage litigation and has both prosecuted and defended declaratory judgment actions in Courts all over New York State.

Cheryl graduated summa cum laude from Brooklyn College.  She attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as member of the Moot Court Honor Society and served as a senator on the Student Bar Association. At graduation she was awarded the Jacob Burns Medal for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School. She is admitted in State and Federal Court in both New York and New Jersey.

Since graduating from law school, Cheryl has continued her professional development serving as a Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) speaker/coordinator for bother insurance professionals and attorneys.  She is a published author, with articles appearing in New York State Bar Association publications.
